To get experience you have to play games and quizzes that will also get you mulch. What I do is with my mulch I buy plants then I get even more mulch and experience and now I am a billionaire because of it. But it takes time to get that fare. So if you want to do what I do then make sure you use plants that has alot of experience and mulch I use the Orange bubblegum plants. And if there are some rare ones like the bumble bee mushroom cap then get it!! Cause they have alot of experience. But if your a tycoon  then open up your plaza and design your rooms so people can buy pictures and party and have fun or buy ultra rare plants like bling cap they give you lots of experience and mulch but it takes time to grow so buy some over plants aswell.
